About the Artist

Nancy Hart has been a calligrapher and award-winning designer for over twenty years in the Baltimore-Washington area.  She was educated at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland.  As a member of the Washington Calligraphers Guild, she has attended numerous workshops, including LeeAnn Clark, Julian Waters, Carl Rohrs & White House calligrapher, Pat Blair.  Currently she studies with renowned calligrapher, Sheila Waters in Fairfield, PA.

Nancy’s work has been shown at the annual Washington Calligraphers’ Guild exhibit.

Logo designs include the Peabody Court Hotel, the Baltimore Museum of Industry, and The Admiral Fell Inn in Fells Point in Baltimore, MD.
